Shake 'em, then lose 'em.

(via p.heartache)

A major turn-off about people is when they stop me from crying, or when they tell me that tears will solve nothing. I just want to scream in their faces sometimes! Don't they know? Crying is my way of coping, just like other millions of people out there. If I want to cry, then just fucking let me do it! Not like I will sink into perpeptual depression thereafter? And what I don't understand is why people naturally assume that crying is an action equivalent to giving up. EXPLAIN THIS FOREIGN CONCEPT TO ME PLEASE.

I really appreciate those who can simply sit with me while I let it out. It's really harder to shut up than to find something nice to say. I only know two people who can do this crazily well: @insanity_alan & @maggydave

Srsly, these are the two people you have to go to if you know them. They have sat with me in a playground while I wailed and tolerated my 3am rant calls and supported my every move. I've known them since forever (2 of my oldest friends) and I love them so much. So so thankful for friends like these.

And to those who crapped out their asses that tears are useless, here's a quote I hope would feel like a slap to your face:

"To weep is to make less the depth of grief"
-William Shakespeare.
