This season reminds me so much of England and my lovely flatmates (miss them so much!). The festive spirit is so hyped up there, I can never help but feel excited too. On our day out earlier this month, we took a train ride down to London Hyde Park, the heart of Winter Wonderland. I think it was one of the best days of my life. Everything felt so joyous, so upbeat, and so English :)
Our first stop in St Pancras was a bakery, Peyton and Byrne.
They had loads of pastries, but we got our eyes set on the cupcakes (naturally).
Divya and Reema.
SJ and I.
Honestly, we are the most glamorous girls you will ever meet. CHECK THIS OUT....
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I just want to go back and grab a cupcake now :S
Took the tube down to Hyde Park after all our snacking and slacking.
Winter Wonderland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O
What is an outing without jumpshots???? Though they were quite #fail.
You cannot imagine how excited I was to be there, not knowing what to expect and wanting to try everything. Nearly shat my pants, hahaha.
Dreamcatchers.
My gorgeous Reema :)
My goofy SJ :)
And my hearty Divya!
We went on a couple of rides, tried a few traditional carnival games, and they were so awesome. If they weren't so expensive, I think I could spend an entire day trying out all of them :3
Hahahaha, we always make fun of Reema's size and now you can see that it's for a good reason! She barely makes the minimum height for rides! Haha.
Finally gave ourselves a break and had lunch. Gravy chips and pie!
Snowflakes nails I painted for SJ!
The ice-skating rink, but I think we were more interested in the duo performing. They were amazing!
Here's a short video of them singing Jason Mraz's You and I Both :)
After Winter Wonderland, we went ahead to explore the rest of London. It was my first time in England, so the girls wanted me to do touristy stuff. That will be for another post though!
