New camera, new luggage, new nails, but good ol' friends & dog.

I am so happy today! Haven't been in this mood for a long, long time. Let's go into pointers today, for the things that made my day.

1. Got myself a spanking new camera; the Canon EOS 600D, under the recommendation of J and dpreview. I always turn to dpreview for anything gadgety and they have never failed me!

My very first camera (not shared or hand-me-downs)! I cannot believe this baby is mine, and it's all thanks to Uncle Jimmy (Beatrice's dad). He pulled connections and helped me get this at a steal (saved about SGD200)!

2. For my move to UK, I bought a brand new suitcase. It's terribly bimbotic, but I couldn't not buy it!!! I'm just not a solid-colored-suitcase person :/

HAHAHAHA, I KNOW HOW RIDICULOUS IT IS, but I love it to death! Don't judge, because I have the mini version of it in blue too...

And this is my red-haired-Beatrice luggage tag, a gift from Ms Lee (my favorite mentor on earth).

I say it looks like Beatrice because...

Hahahaha, uncanny! Every time I see a Kokeshi doll, I laugh to myself because it reminds me so much of her.

3. Freshly painted nails, in my favorite color combi. This is my go-to manicure, because it matches every single outfit/accessory/pair of shoes, and it's not boring at all.

Tadaaaaaaah~ A warm baby pink with holo glitter!

OPI Hawaiian Orchid (now my favorite lacquer).
La belle Rainbow Glitter; a less-than-$1 nail polish I picked up in Philippines' Watsons. Just wish I had bought more this when I was there. Must-have!

And like I have always raved, this is the best topcoat I have ever used.
Gel Topcoat from Ettusais. It applies like any other topcoat, but dries with a gel finish. It's very smooth, brightens up your manicure (seriously!), and can last up to 2 weeks without chipping. 
I might just die if they discontinue it one day.

4. Friendly visit from my lovely girls, Syaq and Joanne. I really appreciate it when friends make time for me, especially now that I'm leaving. Had plenty of fun with them tonight, unwrapping nail polish, painting nails, laughing at Joanne, and just talking. It was nice (:

And yep, that's my room now, extremely messy and everything is all over the place. Blame it on all the packing I have to do. Drives me crazy :/

And lastly, 5. My dog makes me happy every single day.

When I leave, I will miss her the most. Will miss sleeping with her, rubbing her belly, having her lick my face in the morning, running around the house with her, and squeezing her nose )': I just hope she can get used to me not being around.

I love Yuanyuan more than myself, more than life itself.
