Last year's November, I helped out at one of the most meaningful events of 2009. It was held at the heart of Vivo City over a period, and I was only there to mend the place for a night, but I was pretty touched by the displayed work and the concept itself.

Art Against AIDS was a photography exhibition that served as a platform for individuals to express themselves and their interpretation of AIDS through personal photography.

Every piece was accompanied with a short write-up that represented the photographer's thoughts and intentions. I found most of them very very creative, original, and to-the-heart.

Alan Tan's submission was eye-catching with the greyscale effect, but it was the write-up that set it apart from the rest. The message was strong, real, yet surprisingly delivered in a subtle manner (refer to last sentence of write-up).

The photographs alone wouldn't be sufficient for a thirsty eye for expression. But the write-up conveyed a kind of poignant strength in Chris. Loved itttt.

If you were there for the exhibition too, lucky you!
Time to change tutorials, buh-uh-bye.
